I hope that everyone got a lot of rest and a nice day for New Year's. I wanted to get the house cleaned up and I did start that project. But as I was doing laundry, my dumb washer finally did its last spin. It hasn't been working in a long time, sometimes wanting to spin and sometimes just letting everything sit in water. So Rick looked up prices at our wonderful Nebraska Furniture Mart. It's only available in the area and it's an AWESOME place. All of our furniture is from there and it's the place with the best deals. So we went and found a washer AND dryer. For an awesome deal. So here they are... Fred and Wilma!

They are living in our basement, which I'm looking forward to finally getting cleaned up and making it better looking. We want to paint the basement a brighter color and the cement with something that I can't remember right now. So yeah, I can't wait til it's gorgeous down there. :)

It's the silliest thing to get excited about but I've never had brand new washer and dryer. It's incredible to think that I am getting all these awesome appliances in MY house. They are all mine and I am looking foward to using them often...
