Wow, it's almost the end of January already. I can't believe it. The month has gone by so quickly! I only have about 2 weeks left with Rick. Then he's off for a while. Sad... :( But right now, we are spending our time having fun. We haven't been going out on Friday nights, which is something I've been asking for the last year for us. And it's been great. We are usually in bed by 10-11 PM and I don't feel as tired as when we were going out that night. I'm glad we are cutting back on it.

Me and Leo on the bed. I'm in my favorite PJs!

Yup, nothing much else going on. Still looking and wanting a new job. We'll see if I hear from an interview I did earlier this month.
My hair is driving me crazy, it's so long right now. It's driving me LOCA! I really like that I can play with it but it's just always in my face and because its ends are getting nasty, it tangles a lot more. I want to try to grow it out enough so that I can eventually cut it off and donate it to http://locksoflove.org/. At this point, I could donate it, but my hair would be so short and I want to at least be able to put it in a ponytail for when I work out. So I'm trying to go for a little longer. But my paitence is running low on my hair. Anyways, I'm trying and hopefully I can do it!

Me being silly

The cats are being better about being around each other. There is still some hissing and growling, but Tequila has made her home at nights on our feet on our bed, along with Bella and Bella is so far okay with that. Pickles is still under the couch and Monique and Leo are still just hanging out.

Nothing much has been going on. I'm finally not sick. But I am dealing with allergies. Which is CRAZY considering how cold it is here in Omaha and I thought everything would be dead. But no, it's just stuff in the air that's been bugging me for the last week or so.

Rick and I

Kameron and Zynda were also there with us

We went out last week for my friend's Molly's birthday, last Wed. It was a lot of fun. We went to a bar, called Mr. Toad's. It's a very chill place. There's 2 rooms and in one of the rooms, it's just got books everywhere. Like an old library. Very cool. Then we went to the restaurant called in Vincenzo's. BEST cheesy garlic bread in the world! It's pretty cheap considering everything else on the menu is expensive. But that's our place to go after drinks. Molly's a friend that I met about 2 years ago through work. She's really fun to hang out with and we can just talk about anything.

It snowed again last night, and it was beautiful this morning. It was the soft and fluffy kind, so it was easy to get it off my car. Here's a pic from a snow fall a while back. I like it when I don't have to shovel.

Happy New Year!!

Wow, it's already the second week of January. Well, let's see... New Year's was fun. I hadn't had that much fun in a long time for that specific holiday. My New Year's fun usually was staying home, a couple of times sick, and once at the Mucky Duck in Monterey. That was not fun at all. This year we met up with a lot of people and stayed up until almost 4. Eck. Didn't feel great the next morning, since I ended up getting super sick. So again, sick at New Years....

Leo

Bella
Pickles, we saved her when a friend couldn't move with her

Monique, Rick's mom's cat that she left when she moved from TX.

Our house has been a disaster for the last couple of weeks. We were out of town and when we got back, we've been tired and just really keeping up with laundry and dishes. And now that we have 5 cats running around, it's more messes to find and clean up. I know, 5 CATS!!! But 3 were saved from being abandoned. So we can't complain. They are all not getting along and at night, we are kept up with them hissing at each other and running around our bedroom from everyone else. It's kind of funny. It's only been about 2 weeks, so it's understandable that our Leo and Bella aren't happy and hoping they will go away soon. But I hope they learn in the next couple of weeks that they aren't all leaving and we will be a happy family. It's going to be hard when Rick leaves because 2 of them will only come out to be petted by him. So I probably won't see them until he comes back. We'll see!!
